Can’t send E-mail

I’m using win 2000 pro, on a peer-to-peer network.

I am having a real hard time getting to send E-mail off of this system. It will receive ok but it won’t send E-mail, even web based E-mail. It may send E-mail once or twice and then it maybe days before it will send again. This network uses ICS also, the other machines act the same way.

I can go to my machine, which is not part of this system, running 2000 also I can send and receive mail from their account with no problem both Pop andweb based.

I have checked all settings untill I am blue in the face, and still can’t get this to work.

Someone out there save what little hair I have left.
