Can’t start Services “Access is Denied”

I’m having a problem running applications like Arcserve2000(backup app), PcAnywhere10, Borland interbase 6.0 because when I log into my win2kserver I don’t have the rights to start the services therefore the programs don’t work.

I have win2k server (sp2). I log into with my account which is a part of domain admins and I’ve also added my account to the local administrative group in win2k server.

I keep getting this Access is Denied error when I try to start the apps (as shown above) services.

Does anyone have any ideas?
