Career Change

I have recently decided to change careers, and I went to school and received my Microsoft Certifications, but I am finding it very difficult to find a job. Most places say they need someone with the work experiece, but How am I to get the experienceif no one will give me the oppurtunity? I have started my own side buisness just to try and get some experience, but I have sent out over 100 resumes and I have had only 3 interviews. Any suggestions you have I would greatly appreciate it.
