career from VC to SAP

Pls tel me how to move from VC++ to SAP.
I had done my PG in computer sciience.i had worked in s/w development for 2 yrs and now i am in maintenence in software and hardware.pls tell me in which SAP module is good for me to start.
is it good in SAP Basis ECC 6.0.
please suggest me and send me the sap sites and material and good instittues in banglre or hyderabad
