CD Burner

HP CD-Writer+ 9500 [CD-ROM drive]

I have been having problems backing up my data. I thought it may be my brand of CD’s but I changed brands and it did not help. Is there a way to check my burner? Maybe a utility program or a website that I can go to to let it run tests on it?

The burner keeps trying to burn but says” the data is not being fed quick enough” and it will not erase a rw cd. Sometimes it says the disc is full after an erase.
