CD Creator

by naamor . Updated 25 years, 1 month ago

I am running CD Creator 5 on a Win2k workstation. It is a 1 gig system with 256MB of RAM and 4.5GB of free drive space.
Whenever I am creating a CD, it almost completes the write process and then stops with the following error;
T0100: I/O error (06/C5/00) – Write error – buffer underrun occurred
T0100: I/O error (06/C5/00) – Write error – buffer underrun occurred
T7127: TrackWriter error – Flush failed
T7118: TrackWriter error – Command retry failed

I have confiremed the following

The Temp directory is empty
There are no other programs running including screensavers
CHKDSK and Defrag are run regularly
This occures, no matter what brand of CD I use.
I have tried writing at a slower speeds

I have also tried using my old version of CD Creator 4 with the same results. Roxio’s website was of no help nor does Microsoft have anything related to this.
I am reasonably sure it is not the CD-RW. A friend of mine has the same problem on his Win2k system.

Any help would be appretiated.
