Ok so my problem is simple to explain. I have installed 2 games on my computer, The Sims 2 and The Movies. After installation I try to play one of the games with the cd/dvd in the correvt drive. An error message pops up telling me to insert the cd. I patched both games and that did not work. I removed the disks and tried downloading firmware for the drives but when I run the program it opens the drive and tells me to remove the disk. It’s already been removed so I don’t know what to do. I have searched many forums and search engines for the answer, but I have not been able to fix it. Oh also I had these games installed on the same machine, they worked fine. The only thing I’ve changed is I was running windows 2000 pro, and I’ve upgraded to Windows XP home. Please help.
