CD-RW doesn’t play Audio CD

i use winamp3. i got Samsung CD-RW with no digital cable installed. when i put my audio cd into that drive winamp3 automatically open and list the song list. but it doesn’t play eventhough i manually set to play a song. but it works for mp3 and VCDs. any suggestions appreciated?
