Changing “My Computer” to default name

I have Windows 2000 Pro workstations. I need to know if there is a way to change the “My Computer” icon name on the desktop to a default name for all users that log in. As it is now if I change it under an ID it will not stay that name for all users. I have tried this as Administrator and does not work.
