Child Domain Creation. help

I just installed a child domain call test.anydomain.com from a parent domain (anydomain.com). The installation was very straight forward and simple, however, all I see is the builtin accounts I don’t see my (active directory) users/computers on the new domain, therefore no one gets authenticated from the new domain, I can see my new child domain from the parent domain and vice-versa, all my permissions are for full access, my trust relationships are two way but yet I can’t replicate (populate my new domain) what am I missing, please help!
