Chip Resetter…printer cartridge

Yeah , I was wondering if anyone in the tech world could direct me in the location of some general information that is contained in the chip of a printer cartridge perferably for the Epson To28 & To29. I know there on chip-resetters on the market , but I would like to program one myself , well back to its logical reset state.
Any good programer sites are a plus+++
Or anything that pertains to this subject
