Citrix embedded in web browser

I am trying to implement Citrix metaframe access through a web browser. I have been able to get it to work on our LAN fine, but remotely I get a response of and then the message displays read timeout.
We have a firewall, but I have set the firewall to accept any port and I still get the same response. I have also used the altaddr utility and set the citrix server to use the the external IP for remote clients. The machine has also been rebooted since that change. I am assuming that is it is something with the firewall and NAT, because it works locally on the LAN.
