Clipper program crashing in win95

I support a clipper based application that is used for client data entry. The program works fine but after a period of time the program starts to bog down. What I mean is while tabbing from field to field you notice it hesitates after a while and eventually the program will just close. You do not need to restart the PC just open the program again and it works fine. The program is run from an icon on the desktop. I added the emm386.exe and himem.sys lines in the config.sys for expanded memory tobe available. PC’s have 64-128 MB RAM and they are at least Pentium 133’s. Not sure if there is some kind of memory leak in the program but any ideas on this would be very helpful.
