We are running a Microsoft NT 4.0 cluster with more than enough resources all around. The other day one of our admins deleted a shared directory(not realizing that it was a cluster resource) which in turn caused several error messages related to this. However, the other server went into checkdisk /f after the deletion. Did the cluster just freak out thinking that it needed to repair the disk or was this just a coincidence? To recover after checkdisk, we had to recreate the directory and share. We are not going to test this theory by deleting the share again!
