CMOS CHECKSUM error

fail to bootup but the last shutdown was done properly i’m sure.
Error msg ‘CMOS checksum error’appear when i try to boot.And i am given the option to choose ‘Press F1 to resume or delete to enter setup’.if F1 was choosen,it will be able to boot using safe mode.the os i’m using is windows me.
