Compaq laptop(Armada 1750) Not Booting U

Upon reboot, everytime it goes into setup. If I try to come out of setup, it reboots again – i.e. I can’t start the OS. If I run the test – it gives error (Process -Failed CMOS Interrupt Test) Error no 108-02 on Device CPU (Main System). If I run the system setup etc. It starts the computer and hangs on “Finding Devices – 100% completed” (I can move the Hourglass – but I can’t do anything else). How do I reboot this computer? How to bypass this CMOS thing?
