compaq LCD 15.4 inch lcd circuit board bad or connection?

Presario v6000 laptop lcd not funtioning properly
LCD = lp154w01 phillips/lg
the lcd will work if I apply pressure to top left side of case.removed lcd from case checked the main connection same results if I flex the top of the lcd on the left side the display it works fine let go and I get fuzz or black screen.I think the problem maybe the ciruit board connection to the screen it self can this be repaired or should I look for a new lcd??
