Compaq & Nt Shutdown

I have an issue when shutting down a Compaq Armada E700 Notebook. The system will not shutdown, but will reboot. I have flashed to the latest bios, but to no avail. I think in the past I found a fix on Compaqs’ website, but cannot find it now. Also the all drivers have been updated including power management managers…MS
