Compatibilty-mode paging reduces overall

OK is system properties under the performance tab i get the two following messages.

Compatibilty-mode paging reduces overall system performance.

Drive C is using MS-DOS compatibilty mode file system.

So my file system and virtual memory are using MS-DOS compatibilty mode. Id like to know how to fix this.
