Compelling industry statistics . . .

by david . Updated 20 years, 9 months ago

Sorry for the alluring title – I don’t have the statistics, I want them. I’d like to add some facts and figures to some marketing literature that paint a picture of the IT needs and condition of small businesses. Facts such as: What does the average 10-person business budget and spend for IT support? How often do companies upgrade their desktops or replace their server? How much productivity is lost to troubleshooting IT issues? At what revenue or employee level does it make sense to outsoure IT support?

You get the picture. These statistics could be framed in a “Did you know?” section in a brochure. While I’m obviously trying to “encourage” business owners to use my IT support services, I’m also trying to provide industry averages to owners who may have no idea that budgeting $500 or so a month for IT support is not only common, but is a wise investment as it relates to unproductive downtime.

Any help?
