Computer messed up sometimes freezes

Ok well i took my computer to my friends house and hooked it up. It worked fine befor i left my house. I hooked it at his house and powered it up and it started up but froze like at the memory test. I then restarted the computer. The fans turned on but the monitor wouldnt come on the keyboard lights dont come on . The mouse doesnt come on. I then unplugged it for a few hours and pluged it back in and turned it on and it all came on like it was going to work and it got to where it says floppy disk error and i pushed f1 to conitnue and the screen went blank so i restarted the computer again and the monitor mouse and keyboard wouldnt work again? Any suggestions? Would dust make it do this?
