Configuring VPN with XP Home Edition

I am trying to configure a VPN with Windows XP Home Edition. I need to get the IP address for each machine, however the IP address is set to dynamically configure the IP address. what should I do to find out what the static IP address is. I don’t want to reset it. One of the machines is running WIN ME, how do I get its IP address when it is dynamically assigned as well?
