I have a problem and need some help.
I am trying to connect two offices with a leased line and have routers on them.
Network 1 has the domain server and the IP group 10.0.100.x with the router on 10.0.100.2 and server 10.0.100.1 at the other side the IP group is 10.0.200.x with the router as 10.0.200.2. There is no domain server on Network 2.
I am running WINS on the domain server so I have the records of the computers in Network 2 listed. Each Network has the default gateway as their respective routers.
I am able to ping the server across the routers and vice versa but I am not able to log in as I receive the error message “No Domain server available” When I use find computer in windows 98, I am able to view files on the server and other workstations.
Any idea what I am doing wrong ????
