Connecting to the Internet

I have a IBM Aptiva, running win98, I’m connecting to the internet by dial up adapter. Im able to connect to the Bell South (service provider)but not to the outside world. I trying to open Internet Explorer. The messeage is the page cannot be displayed cannot find DNS server!

Why can’t I connect?
