We have two independent offices, each with their own domain – Home and Remote. The only connection between the two offices is done via VPN to do billing activities.
The remote users are able to connect via the VPN and do all the data entry they need, but are unable to print any reports unless it is to a local printer. When the VPN is established, the user is effectively disconnected from the remote domain and connects to the home domain.
The VPN sessions are not constant. The serversat each site do not communicate at all.
I had considered establishing a trusted relationship between the two domains, but when I tried to add the Home domain on the Remote server as a trusted domain, it couldn’t find the Home domain – no network connection.
Any thoughts?
