content advisor error message

by casemaker . Updated 24 years, 11 months ago

Hi,
I have a system running W98. I have installed Norton Internet Security on this machine in the past. Tthe kids had tried to remove it and fouled things up in the past, I hid it and no problem. The parents had someone watch the house while they were away last week. The person must have tried to do the porn sites or other blocked sites. I now have this message come up whenever the computer starts or you click on IE. “Please check your content advisor settings for missing information. Click the tools menu and then click internet options. On the content tab check the content advisor settings.” When I do this it asks for a password and neither the parents or I have it. How can I get rid of this message. I uninstalled IE and it still shows up.
Thanks
M
