convert mac file names to win95 compatib

Have NT 4.0 Server sp6 with SFM running. Users were using macintosh systems, and thus, named their files with /?., etc.

These file names are not recognized in the Win95 world and clients cannot open their documents without removing the illegal characters first.

Since I have about 20,000 files to rename/convert is there a utility or script available that can convert these files on the NTFS volume without renaming them one at a time from a mac?
