Copy a Win2000 Server CD

I have an internal HP 9310i CD-RW burner. I’d like to make a backup copy of a Win2000 OEM CD but whenever I insert the CD as a source the HP CD Copier software hangs. You have to go into TaskMgr to kill it. There is no problem in making back up copies of non-Win2000 CDs. Any ideas? Thanx.
