Corrupt or Damaged Folder

Hi, I have a folder on my filesystem that when I CD into and do a dir responds with the message “file or directory corrupt or unreadable”.

When I try to delete this folder I get the response “Folder is not empty”

Can anyone tell me how I can delete this folder please.
