Could not establish trust relationship

I have a server running NT4 and a workstation running Win2000.The workstation was connecting properly to the server until an error message started popping up saying “no trust relationship could be established btween workstation and primary domain controller”. In this case no authentications can be done at this work station because its account is not available on server. Help
