Create bootable USB Flash drive

Can someone offer me help in creating a USB flash drive that will boot and execute Alteris (ibmaster executable)software or at the least boot to a dos prompt.

I used Bart’s PE builder with no problem but I don’t want to boot to Win XP.

This will be used to boot and reimage a PC on the fly when needed.
