Creating a report from crosstab query?

I’m having a problem with a report that uses a crosstab query. For some reason it will not recognize the the crosstab query as the record source? I get the following error:
“The Microsoft Jet database engine does not recognize ‘QueryName’ as a valid field or expression”. Any ideas would be appreciated.
