Creating a small login server

I want to setup a couple of Windows 2000 computers (about 10) to authenticate to a central server that has login names and passwords of all the users. The number of users is about 120. I’m looking for something relatively simple to implement and maintain, since when I leave a non-computer oriented person will take over my position. Anyone have a good way to do this?
