Creating Home Directories

I’m trying to setup home directories on a 2000 Server.

I’m setting up users in the AD Users and Comp. After I create a user, I want to create a Home Directory, I click on Profile, Local path then I enter in F:\Home\username. It accepts this, however no username is created in the Home directory.

I’m following along in a Study Guide, and it says it should create it for me. This isn’t working.

I’m on a 2000 Server with SP2 doing it right from the console and MMC.

I don’t think it should be this difficult.
