Creating Logon Script to Query Database

I would like to know if anyone has done this before? We have a multitude of users that map to various parts of the network, and the logon script uses the ifmemeber command to achieve this. I would like to use some sort of vb scipt that querys a SQL database which would need to be setup also, (if anyone has any ideas on how this is done would also be appreciated!) Am I barking up the wrong tree with this or is this achievable? If you need clarification on this let me know! – James
