creating macros

Dear Sir, Madam:

My OS is Windows xp

I frequently use “borders and shading” in WORD
to create little boxes around chosen words or portions of sentences.

Is there any way to create a macro for the borders and shading box I use so that I do not have to go through the repeated series of steps
that I normally go through?
