currupt hard drive

I have got into problems, my hard drive can’t be accessed coz it has been currupted, any ideas on how i can revive it up.
I have used maxtors’ powermax utility and it has passed all the tests including a thorough scan on the drive . However it can not go beyond this message “unreadable drive”
