Cursor/Logitech Mouseman wheel freezes

Occaisionly my Logitech Mouseman wheel, freezes, ie cursor does not move on screen, have to cold boot, and it may take a number of restarts before mouse will work again.

Have deleted, reinstalled drivers, works for a while, then goes dead again.

Drivers are current, using wins 2000

Product is registered

Could it be a keyboard issue, don’t know
