My PC’s motherboard packed up, but before doing so the symptoms was that the PC re-booted several times. This messed up my Windows XP Home Addition on this disk. I replaced the motherboard, CPU and got a new HDD (C:) with same XP installed. The old drive is now installed as E: I need some documents on the old disk as well as my old Outlook mail. If I go to E:\Documents and Setting\User I cannot access any of the folders (Access Denied message.) All other folders are accessable.
How can I get my old documents and how can I get my old e-mails (there’s no pst file).
