Date format in Win98

I have checked the Regional settings as well as the date and time and some specific reports in a proprietary software are showing the date as 05/05/200 or 04/11/20. I have no idea what other setting is creating this problem. Oh yes, and the reports are just fine from any other workstation. Help!
