DDR Memory

I have 512 MB of the PC2100 that is registered and 1 GB of the PC3200 that is NOT registered but am still waiting for the board. So I was trying to find out a little more about the possibilities/benefits.

Can you use PC2100 DDR 266 MHz alongside with PC3200 400 MHz even if they run at the slower speed or will they not work together at all?
