Default printer

I?m having problem with Toshiba SatellitePro notebook and WindowsNT Workstation 4.0 on it. Every time user reboots the notebook its sets up network HP 2500 color printer as his default printer no meter what printer has been setup as default one before the reboot (he wants that LaserJet 4V on LPT1 be his default printer). I tried setup 4V as the default printer by editing registry and it did not work. All other users who have HP 2500 color printer installed on their PC do not have this problem.
