Deferred Packets

…165049 collisions, 2 interface resets
0 babbles, 0 late collision, 73415 deferred…..
This is an interface for a cisco 3810 router on our ethernet. Where could all of these deferred packets be coming from???This is a relatively small LAN. Why can’t these packets get on the wire?
