Defrag

I’m thinking of defragmenting my 1T hard drive with a third party application, UltraDefrag.
Can I run another process, eg BitTorrent, at the same time?

System:
AMD Athlon 64×2 3600
DDR2 RAM 2G
Windows 7 Ultimate
