Degrading Performance on W2K Pro

I have been running along just fine, and always keep my software up-to-date. Starting a week ago, performance has slowed to a crawl. I started removing programs to no avail. The only NEW thing is Norton 2001 everything. Checking the CPU usage shows very little happening. I backed out W2K SPs, and re-upgrade, but no change. I’m thinking about Ghosting to another drive, and starting from scratch, but that’s a LOT of work. I need ideas! Thanks — Brian
