Delete an AD Server from 2000 Domain

On of my Active Directory Server Died, I have to reload a new OS to bring it back to life. Now I have a Active Directory server in my Windows 2000 Domian that is no longer. I have tried to remove server from Active Directory Sites and Services, and I get a message about The DSA cannot be deleted. If anyone knows how to remove a server from Active Directory Let me know. Thank you.
