Deleted an unused printer

Hi there,
I’ve deleted an unused printer from a Win98 PC and it said some of the files are not used anymore by any other programs, do I want to delete them as well and I’ve said yes. Now everytime we restart the PC, it comes up with the following erro: “The shortcut ‘EPSON Status Monitor 3 Environment Check.Ink’ refers to a location that is unavailable….Check to make sure the disk is properly inserted, or that you’re….”

Is there any way I can get rid of this message because this must have something to do with the printer I’ve deleted?
