Hello.
Environment: Windows 2000 Pro using roaming profiles on Windows NT 4.0 server SP6a.
Problem: The roaming profiles seem to work fine with one exception. Any items deleted from the desktop, favorites, or start menu return after restartingthe workstation. There are no mandatory profiles setup, and I have not setup any system policies. This is happening on all my Win2K workstations, but not my NT workstations.
Current Workaround: If I manually delete the roaming profile information off the server and then restart, the profile will save properly, and load properly on the next restart.
I thought this problem was limited to my PC, but I recently found out it was happening to others as well (nice of them to finally let me know!)
Any ideas?
