Deleteing corrupt registry key

running WinNT 4.0 SP6 tried loading video drv for 3dfx .Drv did not work , after uninstalling I found a corrupt key in reg that it won’t let me delete says “error writing”. all 3dfx software has been deleted. causes “found new Hardware” message on boot. Any ideas of how to fix, without reloading NT?
