Deleting Folders

Hi,
I’m trying to delete a couple of folders from a user’s profile:History,Cookies and recent folder’s. Is there a way to properly delete these. I deleted INTERNET.EXPLORER 5.0 from the system but it left the above folders. Any help would be appreciated..Thanks in advance…
